As tough as Sharkbite Waterline Cleaner is against dirt and discoloration, it is just as gentle on bottom paint, varnished surfaces, wax and the environment. Spray on, wait a minute, then rinse thoroughly with water. You will see how dirt and discolorations run off and the boat will be like new again. Sharkbite Waterline Cleaner is also biodegradable.

When used on metal

When used on certain types of metals, it may be necessary to dilute the agent with water. Always rinse thoroughly with water to avoid corrosion and metal corrosion. Sharkbite Waterline Cleaner is a very potent agent. Therefore, be sure to test on a small area first so you can see what happens and avoid being surprised. If you use Sharkbite Waterline Cleaner, it can sometimes be perceived as a discoloration or a flaming surface on certain types of metal. Note that long-term exposure in water or on land where the metal is exposed to sea, lake or polluted/acidic rain water produces approximately the same type of finish.

Warm working temperature equals faster cleaning

Sharkbite Waterline Cleaner always bites quickly and efficiently. All cleaning with the agent is fast, and it is even faster in a warmer working temperature. The hotter the temperature, the faster it goes, and then you have to rinse it off with water as soon as it’s done. Therefore, try it on a small area first. Then decide whether to take a piece at a time, or the whole boat at once. If you are satisfied, just drive. If you are not satisfied with the result, it may be because the temperature is too low and it will be too cold for the agent to simply have an effect. Try leaving the product on for a few extra minutes for better results.

Rinse thoroughly

Rinse off the agent with water when you are finished so that there are no residues that “bite” on the hull/metal/plastic/rubber/PVC for a longer period of time, for example over the winter.

Work methodically

Spray on one area/surface at a time and rinse with water as you go.
