How long does one Torrbollen last?
It depends on the levels of humidity and where it is placed. Between 1-3 months in the spaces that the different Torrbollen products are designed for.
Where do I pour the liquid when changing to a new refill?
Simply pour the liquid down the drain. Make sure to rinse it if it comes into contact with metal because it might corrode the metal if left too long.
What to do if the liquid from Torrbollen Moisture Absorbers are spilled on a carpet?
Wipe up and wash with lukewarm water. Repeat if necessary.
Do the moisture absorbers work below zero Celsius?
Below zero the process will stop, but it will reactivate if the temperature rises over zero again.
How come the nonwoven bag some times hardens?
Once the flakes in the nonwoven bag have been saturated with water and the access moisture in a space ceases, they harden and dry, that is what makes the bag hard. When the moisture levels rise again, the process starts over and the flakes becomes liquid that condensates into the container. You do not need to throw away your bag if it has hardened.
What happens if I get the contents of Torrbollen on my skin or in my eyes?
The product contains dehydrating salt crystals, CAS 10043-52-4, EG nr. 233-140-8. In case of contact with the salt, wash your hands. The dry substance causes severe eye irritation. In case of contact with eyes: rinse thoroughly with water for several minutes. In case of persistent irritation, seek medical attention. Dust affects the bronchi (irritates mucous membranes). Ingestion causes nausea and vomiting. Drink plenty of water.
